We met the summer before our senior year in high school way back in 1984. We were cruising a mall in Carmel when I yelled “Oh baby!” out the window as I drove past him. We stopped, exchanged names and eventually phone numbers and the rest is history…

We got married on September 9, 1989 and have two children and 5 grandchildren. Our son Kegan lives in Greenbrier, TN with his wife, Angela and their daughters, Emma and Jessa. Our daughter Abbey and her boyfriend, Kyle live in Indianapolis with their daughters, Trinity, Leia and Faye.

Steve worked for Navient (USA Group / Sallie Mae) for 26 years as a Computer Operator and retired on June 22, 2023.

I worked at the Carmel Police Department for 33 years starting out as a Receptionist and retiring as the Chief’s Administrative Assistant on June 23, 2023.

Through an odd change of events we decided to retire from our jobs and are taking a year off to travel.
